As for the weekend: D-room was AWESOME, as expected. Highlights from the two shows I saw: THANE and applause for Court., finding out Thane's kids like Star Wars (yay for Luke and R2D2 costumes on Halloween night at Mahamo, and also for Daiki prepping a whole CASE of candy for them instead of the 1-2 pieces that Thane had asked for ^_^), Daiki being silly and forgetting to zip his pants--he noticed it because of a costume change and was appropriately embarrassed and joked about the frequency of such events, and shared memories of a funny blooper between Daiki and aniki (Kako Rion). Good times, good times. Plus I worked up enough courage to buy a mint case from Daiki himself. It is now proudly adorning a Frisk mint box (berry flavour, since Daiki said that's the flavour he gets. Yes, I'm a dork).

This weekend saw the coming of
( Pasupataaaa~! )
Anyway, I'd best get crackin' on those worksheets. Merry Mahamo to all, and to all a good night.
I'm back in Tokyo and TOTALLY psyched about seeing Daiki's play/ Ayakashi! Really tired after taking the nightbus from Kusatsu, though, so I crashed in a manga cafe in Shinjuku for 3 hours ^^;; I don't look forward to the return nightbus, but before that there will be much fun and zaniness and LEADER-made goodnessto be had. Can't wait to see
In other news, I`ll recontract with JET for 1 more year since MAYBE, if a certain person gets in, it would allow us to live closer together. Also, the people at this Board of Education and quite a few teachers at this school totally rock! So that's next year's plan, and I still need to work on the long-term.
February will contain a trip to Hokkaido if all pans out AND a viewing of my favorite Takarazuka star's last performance. Kei Aran is retiring and I hope her last play is as fun as Pimpernel!
Because of aformentioned things and going crazy on Kitty Guys merch I don't know if I can afford to go to more awesome Tokyo excursions for a while but I wants to, preciousss. I`ll see how my budget looks and update later.
Better run, got to vacate my cozy cubicle and meet up with Court! Wow, alliteration is great ~_~
In a quick note, I have the first day of my viewing of the Kitty Guys play up here already (but hidden until done editing) so I'll public-ize those as soon as I'm done.

I had an AWESOME time chilling at the apartment of
One movie we watched was Wall-E. That was SO CUTE! Moreover, it suprisingly could represent *pnish* relationships! The leading couple is adorable just like a certain married couple...and Tuti's representation is awesome, too! Even Gaku has a character that perfectly suits him.
It was so nice learning more about Tenimyu, watching vids, listening to music (Japanese, English and GREEK!) and just having a relaxing, SHINY time. Good, good day!
Now, I just have to get cracking on packing >_<;; Butbutbut that task will be made easier with the contents of the "Awesomeness fromTuti's INNER SANCTUM" dvd, so even that is looking brighter!
Ganbarimasu! (^o^) /
Long talk with NM-san
--her tennis friend running past once saying "shine shine shine" (die x3) with NM saying "ikiteiru...ikitsuzukeru"
--then running past again saying "die die die die" in English
"Deep" conversations in English. LOL
--Tennis student: What's this? *silly smile*
(Me:) It's a phone :D *amused and thinking "NO WAY, that was an English question!"*
--*laughs* Oh, a phone. [in Japanese to friends]: HEY! I communicated!!!
Girls asking me:
Do you sexy?
Do you H, James toh?
Make love?
o_0;;; uh, riiiight...NOT school questions, kids!!! But...nice try in using English!! XD
Running teacher teaching me Japanese puns--10 ants- ari ga too! (arigatou)
Speaking of glory, HP7 sounds like it was a whole new level of "Best Thing"---everyone can just forget the saying "since sliced bread." I really REALLY wish I could have gone ;_; I had exams, though, so...such is life. Butbutbut, it goes to show that there are wonderful things in this world that something that AMAZING got to take place! And we have a firsthand witness who thankfully shares the wonderful details with us--YOU OWN,
Ok, so no notes posted yet---gomen!!! A board of education guy dropped a bomb yesterday---they found another JET job and, since i said i want to stay in Japan, they expect me to apply. It's still in Shiga, though, and I REALLY want to be in Tokyo and be Courtney's roommate AND be closer to the awesome guys that reside in Tokyo. Plus, they won't even tell me WHERE it is or what kind of school. "It's a secret" he says. Well, I need to know. If I want to stay the whole "bird in the hand worth twice in the bush" saying would apply here and I should accept since I'm not sure if any other situation is going to work out. HOWEVER, it's not where I want to be (heck, i don't even know what side of the lake!) and ...my gut reaction is no. Eliz. is pointing out that I got her a job in the boonies and now want to leave, but by the time I found her the job I had thought that I was stuck going home anyway. As dependent as it sounds, I need to be around friends, to have some way to GET to friends, and this could be even further from Tokyo and my other friends >< I remember what it was like when I first got here, to my boonies job, and there was no one really my age and my efforts to hang out with teachers was fail since they've got families that they don't even get to see much since they don't get out of school until 6:30/7/8 pm.
I guess if I take the JET job it gives me more time to look for a non-eikaiwa job and it will help me stay so I can study the language more and try to get ready to take JLPT 2 in a few years. Ahhhhh, I feel really conflicted, though.
Berlitz or Interac sounded really great, but I've found forums bashing both but the people won't say WHY. That makes me suspicious (some people just seem to like to b**** and moan) but I wish I could get more feedback. I think I have to accept the JET job for now and use the time it gives me to look for better. I just don't like the secrecy, pressure, or timing because it doesn't even let me see how the interviews play out, and I have to tell him by 11AM Today. >_<;;;;
During the auction I bid on Kuri's ring and Kuma's red tumbler, but no luck. It was for charity so I went as high as 8000 yen on the ring and then let the girl get it because she was going crazy and I still needed to run by Gain. I'm totally wishing i'd tried harder but...yeah, Japanese fangirls are a force to be reckoned with and I wasn't quite up to the task *meccha sadness mode* REALLY happy
As a side note I took some hastily scribbled notes during the outdoor show and Birthday event, will update more tomorrow. Though I warn any readers--they were just quick scribbles so I could remember little details Iiked (like Kuri drinking Blendy--I love Blendy!). Plus...how random it was when they took of their shirts. (0_0) Speaking of which, did everyone notice how much Kuri seems to like to strip??? While Kuma and Bana grabbed their shirts shortly after the Kung Fu skit, Kuri just stood there with the mike totally comfortable and relaxed like that's how he likes to be. And who could forget the wonderful video in which we saw him topless many more times, in addition to rockin' out in a mesh shirt....
I GOT TO SHAKE DAIKI`S HAND!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was in disbelief...even when I got to the point where you could SEE them standing there in their teal shirts...and when I was one person away the terror had sunk in...but then the SWEETNESS that is Wasshi took my hand and said `thank you` in a really calming voice! So...I relaxed a bit and then THERE WAS DAIKI!!!!!!! I was on the verge of tears so all I could say was `anou, Daiki-chan... &hands him present& totemo tanoshikatta arigatou gozaimashita!` He gave a huge grin and bowed his head when I gave him the present and when he did that his face was even closer and I thought i was going to die because of overloading on his cuteness and cool energy! Ok, yeah, so I turned into a raving fangirl with this first post but...seriously, it was more wonderful than i thought a short handshake could be. Yayyayayayayayay!!! ^_^ ヴィヴィ!
